9th ASSAM BATTALION NCC JORHAT
The 9th Assam N.C.C unit of Jengraimukh College was introduced in 1993, Initially, Mr. Bijoy Doley was appointed as the caretaker officer. The unit has a strength of 100 cadets including S. D and S. W. The unit office is located at Jorhat. The lieutenant took the charge of the N.C.C. unit in 2010. Furthermore, he was appointed as a caretaker officer (C.T.O) but after completing the P.R.C.N training course in the year 2013 and got the designation of lieutenant. Presently, doing as an A.N.O that is Associated N.C.C officer. The NCC cadets have been joining the various state and national-level camps. The 9th Assam Battalion N.C.C. Jengraimukh College had appointed more than 80 cadet’s military and paramilitary forces including Assam police of Assam.

51 ASSAM AIR (TECH) SQN NCC
The SD/SW Coy/ Tp of 51 Assam Air (T) Sqn NCC, Jengraimukh College was officially raised on 15th January 2021 with a cadet strength of 50. The first batch of the Coy/Tp was started earlier with 17 cadets in the year 2019 which is affiliated to the 51 Assam Air (T) Sqn NCC, Jorhat Unit located in the Jorhat Engineering College Campus, Garmur, Jorhat. The Coy/Tp was raised with a view of both the mental and physical development of the potential students of the College that is situated in a tribal as well as socio-economically backward area. It was also started with a view of developing the qualities of a responsible citizen among the students as well as motivating them to join in Indian Armed Force after successful completion of the ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate examinations. Presently, all three batches have been enrolled this year and fulfilled the entire cadets’ strength. The College, with the help of the cadets, have been frequently conducting constructive and social activities every year. During this short period of the journey, few cadets have successfully participated in state and national-level camps and brought glory to the institution. It has been supervised by Professor In-charge who was first appointed as Care Taker Officer (CTO), but after going through Pre-commissioning Course, recently he has been appointed as the Associate NCC Officer (ANO). Now it has fulfilled all the criteria of a full-fledged Coy/Tp.
