RULES
Attendance Rule :
1.
Student who do not attend atleast 75% of the total number of classes held will be not allowed to appear in the Terminal/ Test examinations held by the college or AHSEC/DU
2.
The attendance in the H.S 1st year will not be taken in to account for H.S. 2nd year.
3.
Attendance in a particular year will be taken into account in the subsequent year.
Cancellation of Seat:
Students failing to attend classes for 15 days at a stretch in the first month of commencement of classes shall forfeit their seats.
Examination Rules:
1.
All the students must appear in all the examinations conducted by the college.
2.
Pass marks as laid down by AHSEC/ DU will be taken as standard for all the college examinations, Relaxations, if any, will be decided by the committee for finalization of results (of examinations).
3.
Students not appearing in any subject/ paper in any examination shall be deemed to have secured 'ZERO' in that particular subject/ paper.
4.
Absence from the examination shall mean detention but under special circumstances may be considered on the merit of the periodical examinations/ performance. This does not apply to the students having below 605 of attendance for all the classes.
5.
Discontinuation of Major Course by TDC students is allowed after taking permission from college authority.
6.
Results of defaulters on account of college, Hostels, NSS,NCC, Sports, Students' Union ,Library matters will be kept withheld.
7.
Re-Admission of unsuccessful students will be governed by college admission rules.
8.
Expulsion from any examinations will lead to the expulsion from the college.
9.
9. Marks in the "Internal Assessment" for TDC students will be decided on the basic of their attendance and performance of terminal examination.
10.
Students who do not attend atleast 70% of the classes held in a year will be declared Non-Collegiate and will be allowed to form fillup of examinations only on payment of Non-Collegiate fees fixed by AHSEC/ DU.
11.
Students failed to attend atleast 60% of the classes held will be considered as discollegiate.
Discipline maintenance among the students
1.
Great emphasis is held on discipline and character building and students are expected to maintain discipline. They are subject to the rules and regulations of the college hostel.
2.
The student admitted to the college must abide by the rules and regulations as prescribed by the college authorities. Violation of rules, irregular attendance, adaptation of unfair means during examination hall, showing discourtesy to the college employees etc are the offences which may make the student liable to disciplinary action like warning even expulsion from the college.
3.
Student should maintain perfect silence in the class room.
4.
Students shall take proper care of the college property.
5.
Students shall keep their bicycles and other means of transportation all in provided shed for them.
6.
Use Mobile phones of the students are restricted and not allowed in the college campus.
7.
Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college campus and in the hostel. Disciplinary action may be involved in ragging.
8.
All powers of maintenance of discipline are vested with the principal and his/her decision shall be final in such matters.
9.
Only the student union recognized by the Head of the institution shall have the facilities of the college premises.
Library Rule:
1.
All students of the college are the member of the college library.
2.
The Higher Secondary & Degree Pass course students will be given 1 library card and for the students having Major Course will be given 2 library card
3.
Students will keep a book 2.week. At the end of the period it shall be returned to the library.
4.
A student failing to return the book on due date will be fined Re.1.
5.
Student must return their library books and library cards before filling up the examination form. Failing which will be charged Rs.5 per day.
6.
At the time of receiving a book the borrower must submit his/her library card
College Transfer Certificate:
Transfer certificate will be given according to rules and regulation of the AHSEC/DU and other self rules governed by college authority as detail below:

Any student seeking transfer from the college will have to apply to the principal for transfer certificate. The following documents must accompany the application:

Clearance Certificate from the college Library, NCC, NSS& Hostel.( Hostel certificate only for hostel dwellers)
